Ahh, Tuscany!!

Our third and final day out covered Montelpulciano (wine country), Montalcino (more wine), and Pienza (the pecorino cheese capital).  This was one of our favorite drives the last time we were in Italy and we were looking forward to repeating it.  Besides the hill towns it also has some of the best scenery.  

In Montalcino we tracked down Alberto and Paola at La Croce Winery.  We stumbled upon this place the last time we were in town and just loved his wine.  They know very little English, but we have a blast stumbling through a conversation with him.  He even set up a little tasting of child appropriate items for the kids.
