After passing through San Lucchese (where Mike and Erin wed two years ago) and San Gimignano, we made it to Montelopio and our next agriturismo, Canale. Where as we were the only ones visiting the last farm, this one was at capacity. Two rooms had folks from England, one from Ireland, four from Germany, and one other from the U.S. Our U.S. counterparts; Drew, Cathy, Amelia, Alicia and Aunt Chris, hailed from Massachusetts. Chef Drew (www.chefdrew.com) has his own line of Natural Salad Dressings and Salsas sold across the States and Canada. The kids had a blast together which made organizing any side trips a bit difficult. We managed two days away from the farm somehow, with the rest of the days dedicated to the pool and playtime.
