The inevitable hit Bret this week, but what a place to celebrate! The kids and I scoured the city to put together the special day and found all kinds of treats. For dinner we bought a spinach and ricotta ravioli, covered with rabbit. Sounds strange but it was delicious. As for the birthday cake we ordered, we're still not sure what the translation is for the word on top. Later we opened a couple of little presents, although he says he really wants to find an adventure of some sort in the Alps or possibly diving in Croatia. I'm sure you'll see a post on that down the road. Happy 40th!

40 In Florence
